Once you have made the decision to enrol your child at Jervis Bay Christian Community School, we ask that you follow the procedure details below:
1. Complete and return the enclosed Application for Enrolment form to the school office. A non-refundable $30.00 per family application fee should be attached. We also require a copy of your child’s/children’s birth certificate, immunisation certificate and recent school reports (if transferring from another school).
2. Forward the Minister’s Reference to your minister to provide a family reference or provide the names and contact numbers of two referees who know your family well. Your Minister should forward the reference directly to the school.
3. Once we have received these items, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time for your interviews. There are 2 interviews in the enrolment process.
i) One of these interviews will be with the Pastor of the church (Jervis Bay Baptist Church). This interview provides parents an opportunity to understand and ask about the school’s
Christian teachings. Only parents are required to attend this interview.
ii) The other interview is with the School Principal, where your child’s specific needs are discussed and you have
the opportunity to find out more about the day to day operation of the school. For enrolments other than Kindergarten,
the interview with the Principal is to be attended by the student and the parents.
Both parents, where appropriate, will need to attend both of the interviews.
4. If your Application for Enrolment is successful, and you are happy to proceed with the enrolment, you will be asked to sign the ‘Acceptance of Enrolment’ form. You should carefully read this document, sign and return it with the Enrolment Bond of $500.00 per family to finalise your child’s enrolment.
